Sheher Khan is afgestudeerd als politicoloog aan de Vrije Universiteit in Amsterdam. Ook heeft hij gestudeerd in Turkije, aan de Sabanci Universiteit te Istanbul. Interesses liggen in geopolitiek in de islamitische en Euraziatische wereld.
